What on earth is TL actually doing here?? a short description pt.1

As almost everybody has already asked me about university and my masters program and I was always low in answers, I think now the time has come to fulfill my duty. Now I feel able to report at least something to you. Cause finally the study program and with it the whole workload have become running. For those who still struggle with what on earth TL is actually studying, for the record: International Nature Conservation, and it is an bi-national program in cooperation with the Lincoln University in New Zealand! Therefore my next semester will be far far away on the lovely other side of the world. But no need to be greedy.
But back to my actual semester here in Göttingen. Since this week I'm having a course in "assessing wildlife for conservation" and it will continue the next three weeks. Everyday from the early 9-ish to lunchtime or even afternoon. Sitting in front of my laptop and analysing transect data from big mammals in Tanzania. Writing it here it sounds kind of interesting... In the end I have to hand in an 20 page long assignment. Beside I'm attending a class on "Bioclimatology and Global change" (giving a presentation on methane sources from tropical forests), "Non-Timer Forest Products" (giving a presentation and hand in a 10 pages housework on some product from the forest and its management - kind of forestry-influenced) and the most interesting of all "Socioeconomics of Rurals Development and Food Security". So now there's a huge amount of workload waiting for me!! - and all before my (afterwards) well-deserved Christmas holidays!
Ok guys, since I wrote already to many lines, and skipping through it at the end, very boring stuff, I will leave it at that for now. This whole story is going to be continued ... watch out fo pt.2!
